Norwich Research Park

Greater Norwich is home to the Norwich Research Park, one of Europe’s largest research parks with over 12,000 staff and £100 million annual research spend.

The park houses four renowned research organisations including The Sainsbury Laboratory, John Innes Centre, Quadram Institute and the Earlham Institute (formally known as the Genome Analysis Centre), together with The University of East Anglia and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Most of the available land on the park has Enterprise Zone status.

Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor

Whether you’re already based in the Tech Corridor area or looking to move or expand your business, the Tech Corridor could be your competitive advantage. The Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor connects two of the key economic and knowledge centres in the East of England and a number of technology hot-spots across a 100 km geography.

The Tech Corridor area’s key strengths lies in its clusters of world-leading universities and research institutes, knowledge-intensive businesses and businesses networks complemented by supply chain capabilities, a skilled workforce and abundance of affordable space to grow. The Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor offers a range of opportunities for businesses and benefits from strong political commitment to continued growth as a Priority Place in the New Anglia Economic Strategy.

Longwater Park

Longwater Park is situated on the western outskirts of Norwich and is one of the most established and accessible business locations in the city. It is approximately five miles to the west of Norwich City centre and the park is situated with access immediately to the A47 Norwich southern bypass linking Great Yarmouth to the Midlands.

Longwater forms part of a major out of town employment area with land available for a variety of industrial uses, storage or distribution. It is adjacent to a successful retail park providing excellent on-site facilities: restaurants, health and fitness, and retail.

The Food Enterprise Park

The Food Enterprise Park is within the Greater Norwich Food Enterprise Zone (FEZ), one of 17 designated by DEFRA and the only one in Norfolk. Located close to Norwich, it is on the strategic road network at the centre of the largest agricultural county in the UK. The site has excellent road connectivity to London (A11), Midlands (A47, A11/A14) and to the east coast ports at Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn.

Broadland Business Park

Broadland Business Park provides grade A office, warehouse, commercial and industrial accommodation in a mature landscaped environment, with superb facilities for staff. Its location, immediately adjacent to the A47 and new Broadland Northway on the eastern side of Norwich, provides excellent access to the region’s transport network.

Broadland Gate

Broadland Gate is a highly prominent and accessible development of 48 acres of serviced land at the A47 and Broadland Northway interchange to the east of Norwich. Broadland Growth Triangle

Situated adjacent to Norwich, it is an area recognised by the UK government as leading the way for delivering sustainable growth, jobs, homes and investment. But for us it’s a place we want businesses to invest and work in and families to enjoy living in.

Growth and investment in the Broadland Growth Triangle has been underpinned by the new Broadland Northway with direct links to the strategic road network. The 20km road is helping to unlock new areas for businesses and homes and provides faster connections to the A47 and Norwich International Airport. Our links to Schiphol make Norwich one of the best connected international airports in the UK.
